We offer a discounted Spotlight membership for graduates in their first and second year of membership.

Spotlight Graduates for 2023/24 is now open.
Your Spotlight membership costs £121.20 / €141 for the year.
New graduate courses on the Spotlight graduate membership need to meet a certain criteria in order to be accepted.
For new courses to meet our criteria they must be at the level of RQF 6/SCQF 9.
Other requirements include that need to reach a certain number of contact hours per week, the balance of practical versus theoretical training has to weigh heavy on the practical side, whether the course offers a showcase or regular performance opportunities and other, industry-relevant requirements.

Just remember that our network is changing all of the time, so we can’t always guarantee that a name will be available when you apply.
Every name is cross-checked manually so although the name checker can give an indication it can only ever be a guide.
It’s advisable wherever possible to have the same name as your union membership, but as we do not share databases, you may secure a name with Spotlight that is not available with Equity (UK) or another union or vice versa. We each give precedence to our current members.
