Spotlight Open House: One Short Day - Official Wicked the Musical Workshop
The Wicked musical theatre workshop is designed to introduce participants to the kind of multi-layered performance techniques crucial to performing in the West End. Following a comprehensive physical and vocal warm-up, the workshop begins by learning a song from Wicked, developing vocal techniques, and acting through song. The participants then learn the matching choreography to the piece and begin to put the two parts together. The group rehearse the piece and work towards a sharing at the end of the session.

Spotlight Open House: Tap for Actors
Everyone can tap! (That’s all you need to know.) If I could do one thing for you it would be to break through the myth that tap is hard and prove to you that with a bit of patience, repetition and calm, everyone can tap. I love exploring and rediscovering tap through the eyes of people who have little experience of it and I have had the absolute pleasure of working with some so-called ‘non-dancers’ and together discover ways of finding their freedom to dance. The class will begin with a very simple warm-up to get our feet moving, and then focus on a short section of choreography performed by a 6-foot 7 green monster in ‘Young Frankenstein’. It’s a bit of tap-dancing fun! So dig out your tap shoes or just bring a pair of comfortable hard-soled shoes and let’s tap, because… Everyone Can Tap!...
