Spotlight Ireland Open House: April 2017

Spotlight Open House is back! Kicking off on Monday 3rd April is a jam-packed week of workshops, Q&As and one-to-ones led by top industry professionals working across all areas of film, television and theatre. 

Most of the events will be taking place at our Spotlight Studios and at 12 Bow Street, Dublin. We'll also be livestreaming some of the sessions, meaning that you can get involved with Open House wherever you're based.

Monday 3 April 18:00-20:30

Spotlight Open House: Watch the Casting Panel with Tusse Lande, Natalie Cheron and Maureen Hughes
We'll be livestreaming the panel of leading international casting directors - Tusse Lande, Nathalie Cheron and Maureen Hughes - will share their tips and advice with you. With projects as diverse as The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Skyfall, Taken and Once, these casting directors have a wealth of experience to share and will be available to answer your questions. Take advantage of the drinks and nibbles provided to network with actors and agents, while learning from some of the leading casting directors in Europe.

Tuesday 4 April 10:30-13:30

Spotlight Ireland Open House: Camera Ready Hair and Make Up
Reknowned hair designer Lorraine Glynn (Brooklyn, Rebellion, Marie Antionette) will be showing you some simple tricks to help you prepare your hair and make up for auditions. Throughout the session you'll have the opportunity to have your hair styled and make up done, all while learning some techniques that you can use yourself at home for self-tapes or before an audition to get you into character.

Throughout the session you'll have the opportunity to have your hair styled and make up done, all while learning some techniques that you can use yourself whether you're playing a character from the 1800s to the 1920s.
