It's that time of year again, Spotlight Open House is back from 7 - 11 November 2016. This week long series of workshops, one-on-ones and Q&As is your opportunity to continue to develop your skills, expand your network and progress your career. 

As a member of Spotlight, you can come along to free events at our London HQ, our hub in Dublin at 12 Bow Street or livestreamed online, so wherever you're based you can join us for #SpotlightOpenHouse

One-on-one with pyschologist Dr Carol Chapman
SOLD OUT. Many people in the performing arts will experience challenges with their mental health at some point in their lives. That's why artsminds.co.uk is here to help. These private, 30-minute one-on-one sessions are a chance for you to speak to counselling psychologist Dr Carol Chapman, who works with BAPAM. The session is completely confidential and an opportunity for you to discuss any challenges that you're currently facing.

How can you take advantage of this trend as an actor and generate opportunities to work throughout Europe? The founder and CEO of StagePool, Spotlight's partner in Scandinavia and Germany, Anna-Clara will share tips and advice that she has used to help actor throughout Europe to work in theatre, TV and Film for over 20 years.

Building Blocks of Accent Work with Laura Carroll
SOLD OUT. This session will highlight the key building blocks to creating a consistent accent. These are applicable to all accents giving you a clear starting point and essential check list to help you nail an accent for an audition or performance. A little more about the speaker: Laura Carroll – Trained at East 15 in 2004. After completing her voice training at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2008 worked as a freelance voice teacher in London at a variety of drama schools including East 15 and Arts Ed. She then moved to the North West in 2013 to take up the Head of Voice at LIPA.
