How to Direct Your Own Work
Flatmate not in, Mum telling you you’re amazing no matter what you do, dog not providing much help? Working independently can be hard sometimes - we don’t know where to begin or feel like we’re getting nowhere. This workshop will provide you with useful exercises and tools when working alone on a piece, making you feel more confident that your piece is ready to go and you as your own director is just as good (as your flatmate, Mum or dog). Please bring along a new 1-2 minute contemporary monologue you want to work on or a monologue you're feeling a bit stuck with. Please also wear comfy clothes you can move in.

Casting director Emma Sylvester will be on hand to give you feedback to improve your performance in front of the camera.
