Spotlight at Subtitle European Film Festival

A Round-Up of This Year's Festival in Kilkenny

82 casting directors from around the world descended on Kilkenny in Ireland at the end of November, to come together and discover new European talent.

In association with Spotlight, Subtitle is Ireland's only film festival of popular subtitled European films. In 2017, there were 29 films presented from Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, The Netherlands, Russia, Georgia and Bulgaria. With over 200 guests in Kilkenny for the festival, we caught up with a few to hear what they made of this year's festivities.
