Open Door is a non-profit organisation helping young people without financial support or the resources to gain a place at one of the UK’s leading drama schools
Applying to drama school can be difficult and expensive so Open Door is here to help talented young people who want to gain a place at one of the UK's top drama schools. Spotlight is delighted to be supporting this initiative as Open Door helps successful applicants attend auditions feeling prepared, confident, and without the worry of financial strain.
They're offering young people based in London, Essex, Sheffield, Rotherham and the East Midlands free auditions at some of the best drama schools - perfect for those who are serious about pursuing a career in acting.
Successful Acting applicants will receive:
- Six free auditions at some of the UK's leading drama schools including RADA, LAMDA, Guildhall, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Royal Central School of Speech & Drama
- Free travel to any drama school audition outside of your region
- 15 hours of one-to-one acting tutorial sessions from experienced industry professionals
- Musical tutoring for any singing stages of your auditions
- Places at Open Door's series of bespoke workshops led by top industry professionals
- Free theatre trips, followed by discussions
- Bursary and funding advice.
