The Spotlight Prize 2017: Winning Performances

On Tuesday 11th July, 20 actors from some of the UK's top drama schools took part in the Spotlight Stage Showcase at The UnderGlobe. Ahead of this year's performance, the graduates also took part in a screen acting showcase with director Shimmy Marcus. The Best Stage Actor winner was Cecily Redman, with her rendition of Changing My Major, from Fun Home. Yasmin Mwanza took home the Best Screen Actor Prize with her monologue from A Profoundly Affectionate Passionate Devotion to Someone.
